Another worst film! Full of boring conversation, and annoying overuse scene! Avoid at all cost!

This film start with three family members gathering at the kitchen, and the father went away to work scene! As turnout, this film is about a police officer "Chris" need to clear his name by self-defense to resume his job! Entire film full of boring conversation, and annoying overuse scene! Such as, overuse of the walking scene, overuse of the searching scene, overuse of the eating scene, overuse of the drinking scene, overuse of the smoking scene, overuse of the interrogate scene, overuse of the staring scene, overuse of the kissing scene, overuse of the arresting scene, overuse of the calling names scene, overuse of the arguing scene, and overuse of the driving scene! Make the film unwatchable! At the end, Chris clear his name, and resume his job! That's it! Wasting time to watch!

I'm sorry I killed him.

Chris Jones (Tobias Truvillion ) is a black police detective in NYC who get shot by a white detective, returns fire and kills him. There is racial tension and Chris has to go find a radio.

The film was Lifetime meets BET. Ice-T gave himself a small role because he knows he can't act like the rest of us. The gangbangers are the good guys. It didn't make a lot of sense with everyone acting so stupid.

Guide: F-word. No sex or nudity.

Great movie! Needs more distribution

I found this movie to be awesome. First Born Productions is a company that seemed to have joined Vimeo at least 6 years ago & Equal Standard is one of the first films I've seen promoted on Vimeo.

I personally love the movie but almost wish the rental was not $9.99. This was the challenge I had with the Tracie Ellis Ross movie - A High Note. A High Note was originally intended for the theater & they charged $19.99 to rent it. Then after only a month, they sold it for the public to keep permanently for $14.99.

I would gladly paid $14.99 up front for a full release of Equal Standard that I could keep. I think giving the customer more options might help. Otherwise I have nothing but a praises of the movie.
