If you were a fan of the first, like I was, you should enjoy this second outing...

It doesn't try to outdo the first film or be too different... it's a natural continuation of the story. Millie Bobby-Brown and co deliver excellent comedic/action sequences with the mystery element still central to the plot.

Millie's acting chops should now see her take on some more challenging roles (like Florence Pugh). But for now these types of roles are right up her alley. The film has a great pace to it, and develops the characters well, including the new ones. The set design and costumes again bring an old London to life.

Remember, it's not an Oscar contending drama... It's a fun family friendly action/comedy... So enjoy it on that level.

Let me start with millie Bobby brown because she was amazing in this film. Her wittiness and charm shine in the film which don't we see in stranger things while showing her vulnerability in the film which she did well especially those scenes she had with David thewis . It quite funny because this role is fun role for millie but thought she did better in those emotional scene than what she did in last season of stranger things.it feel like right and not over the top while Henry cavill who play this type of Sherlock that's more more strict and caring play polar opposite millie character which makes them very good pairing. Their chemistry play off like peanut butter and jelly which makes them very fun to watch. The mystery was great because it was well written and I didn't know what was going to lead or the bad guy which makes good sign of a good mystery. I know people complain about the feminist in the film but I feel it was well done and didn't feel it was preachy. I feel it was necessity for the film to have that theme because the whole point of the storyline is about these girls getting taken advantage by the people in the upper classes so when we do see them stand up to them. It felt very powerful and what was needed for the closure for the character because they been treated poorly and been in terrible condition. My problem is the first 30 min in the film which I feel to be kinda badly paced but very great film.
