This movie helps start off the line of DC Superhero Girls DVD movies on a very strong note. It has that great combination of strong character arcs, intimidating yet entertaining villains, strong messages on being a true hero, and it's all wrapped up with a mix of fun and drama. It's 77 minutes of awesome.

This movie has the nerve to call it self hero of the year after the fact that they have a Harley Quinn, Posion Ivy and Killer Frost in the same school that the heroes go to.

The whole film it self was an utter bore fest. Even my younger cousin hated this movie. But the only good this about it is the fact they had Sean Schleammel the voice of Goku from the Funimation dub of dragon ball in this and also Josh Keaton and greg cipes.

Other then that this movie is trash and insulting to DC.

It's time for the annual Hero of the Year ceremony and the students of Super Hero High compete for the top prize. But the festivities take a turn when Dark Opal targets the heroes and steals some of their most valued possessions to form the ultimate weapon! It's up to the students at Super Hero High to spring into action! But can Wonder Woman, Supergirl, Batgirl and Bumblebee stop Dark Opal- and his mysterious partnerin- crime -to save the day? My problem with DC Super Hero Girls: Hero of the Year were 3 little things first of all why didn't Batman and Superman had at least a cameo i mean Flash and Green Lantern are here and they don't do much which brings me to the 2nd problem which is the lack of male characters and the 3rd one was on Batgirl's character that gets called "Non-Super" isn't Harley non-super also? I mean why are Harley and Poison Ivy with the "good girls" aren't supposed to be villains? But anyways still nowhere near as bad as a 5.7/10 and i think that a lot of girls will love it and even some boys too the highlights were clearly Supergirl, Batgirl, Wonder Woman and even Gorilla Grodd (8/10)
