Lacked subtitles for the elderly, disabled, hearing impaired, and ESL viewers. Disrespectful & cheap on the part of the producers. Audio levels were inconsistent & video quality at times was very poor. Script is mostly fairly mundane just talking heads. To me not a tale of any value, but perhaps if seen as a self confessional some might find it interesting. Basically it's about a gay male w/unfulfilled sexual desires that are, temporarily, filled by realistically drawing his sexual fantasies as well as actively imagining them. He is driven from Indiana to N.Y. by his loving mom to, I imagine, find himself. He has some mental issues that result in child like behaviors; anger/impulse control; drugs; lying; theft; poor social skills w/adults. He gets a part time job child sitting (movie kept saying baby sitting which I find really inappropriate) an 8 to 10 year old boy. Not believable ending of him selling his drawings, nor a proper resolution to issues. Crowd funded by 300+ that could result in extra very positive reviews?

One of those movies you see it once and that's enough, No deserve any recognition at all. Ridiculous plot.

I wish they would have said what the main character's mental health issues are, I probably would have understood his quirks better. The fact that his mother drops him off in the middle of NYC and leaves him there says something to that annoying quality of the title character. They also generalize Midwesterners somewhat. His being a caregiver for a young person was at times cringeworthy and other times adorable. Those parents were either cheap or completely desperate. the writing, supporting characters, and editing were good. The Leatherman fantasy was weirdly funny, again what is wrong with the main character? I watched to the end it is a touching, good story. Don't know who I would recommend this movie to but would watch again.
