Described as an 'eco horror', director and co-writer Wyndham Price's story is an unusual one, and left deliberately vague in places. I really enjoyed its unusual qualities - we don't quite have anyone to route for as everyone is flawed, but possibly Elen Rhys 's Alicia is the closest we get. Beginning the story as something of a trophy wife to cockney go-getter Tucker (Nick Moran),she becomes more sympathetic the more disillusioned she gets. Her final story seems yet to be told.

Unusual, well filmed, convincingly played, unspecifically spiritual, with statements like 'we don't own the land, the land owns us' alluding to Tucker's unstoppable desire to build the perfect home in a forest already claimed - the main protagonist is the titular Crow (Tom Rhys Harries),who is guided enigmatically by Great Crow (Terrance Stamp).

My only slight problems involve some unnecessary CGI, and the fact that the forest looks too laundered, more like a local park than anything that might house such an intense character like Crow and his tribe. Other than that though, I thought this was excellent, and something different, which is always a good thing. My score is 8 out of 10.

I'm not sure what the point of this movie was? Are we supposed to side with the hippie druids? If so then it failed miserably.

Firstly the squatters, does anyone actually think they should have any rights? Apart from other squatters of course. Despite things later on revealed they are still trespassers and hence get no sympathy from the audience.

The main posh Brit is a douche-bag, no denying that but that doesn't excuse some tree worshiping nutters killing and maiming people.

It sadly paints every character as unlikable, the hippies coming off the worst.

The voice of the Crow character is so annoying I was already hating the movie before anything happened. Which is another point...nothing really happens throughout the film, it is mainly just nonsense voice-overs (what a waste of talent!)

The acting in itself is fine but with such irritating characters they didn't have much to work with.

All in all there is nothing to like in this film and I was rooting more for the main guy, despite the film desperately trying to paint him as the bad guy.

Crow is the name of a Druid tribe that dates to ancient times. They are squatters at a farmhouse and on land that was recently acquired by Tucker (Nick Moran) who wants to build a dream house deep in the woods, cutting down quite a bit of forest. He also is forcing the tribe of squatters out, squatters who refuse to leave. A confrontation happens that eventually invokes the forest spirits.

Tom Rhys Harries becomes the title character. Terence Stamp has a role I would expect for Christopher Lee. The film was better than my expectations. Some violence, blood, and gore. F-word. No nudity.
