Kareem has to be the most irritating, obnoxious, poorly-written character in modern movie history. He's meant to be 12, but looks about 16 and is extremely slappable. His lines are unbelievably offensive for a someone who's meant to be a child, something the movie's entire premise seems to rest upon. There's nothing clever about this movie; just a fat kid swearing as much as possible.

Should be called 'The Obnoxious Fat Kid Movie'
You don't taze your mom.
I hate pun titles and like a moth to a flame. . . Officer Coffee (Ed Helms) of Detroit is dating Vanessa (Taraji P. Henson ) and it is getting serious. Her 12 year old son Kareem (Terrence Little Gardenhigh ) does not approve and with a sock full of change attempt to hire bad guy Orlando Johnson (RonReaco Lee) to take Coffee out of the picture. Drug deals, dirty cops, potty mouth kid. I think you get the idea. Try not to think to hard. Let you hair down and enjoy the stupidity.
Guide: F-word. Sex? No nudity.
Ed helms ... and protects
You have to love Ed Helms ... well if you don't, the movie will be quite the torture for you. Comedy is in the eye of the beholder. You may find this funny or obnoxious. That doesn't mean others feel the same way you do. But for what it's worth, if you are not too sensitive the movie works.
It knows what it is and never pretends to be anything else. It goes to show you, that entertainment is not the same for everybody. For some the kid is the most annoying they've seen - others will find the performance super funny. None is more right than the other. So watch at least a bit of the trailer to get a sense of what this is or rather what it feels like ... than decide if it is for you
