Loved the story and back story. Love, Sex and betrayal all involved in this one. Starts with grandpa.
Plot summary
After the tragic death of his parents, high school graduate Jonas lives with his grandfather on a North Sea island. It is a time of new beginnings, the time of the first love. The arrival of the new German language teacher Helena turns Jonas' life completely upside down. She recognizes and encourages his writing talent and uses this trust to build an intimate relationship with him. But Jonas doesn't suspect that Helena is pursuing a deadly plan.

Black Island and secrets within
This felt like it would go a different way. Having a teacher student relationship front and center and all that. But there is more to it ... and more to the teacher than meets the eye. So this is not just here to fulfill your secret fantasies (or nightmares?),but has some extra meat to it (no pun intended).
The thriller aspect of the movie works overall. Yes there are cliches, yes the movie will move to a direction once it is revealed what it's truly about ... that you expect. And still it is more than decent. Especially the ending makes up for some of the flaws along the way ... if you even feel they are flaws.

Had potential but it had to many unnecessary scenes and lackluster ending!!
Had potential to be a solid 7 or 8 but unnecessary sex scenes involving a much older person with power over a minor even if the minor is 17 or 18 it was sick...then a stupid scene in the library that ended a decent beginning then add a lackluster ending you have a 1 we gave it a 3 for decent acting and excellent setting. It's a shame had potential but was wasted by idiotic story decisions and directing.
