Really? Why would they make such a vicious gory violent movie in the middle of an ongoing USA-border crisis stereotyping races and scaring the heck out of undocumented workers?
In addition painting whites as sadistic cruel people which isn't true. ALL PEOPLE MATTER and this movie - while edgy and suspenseful - adds salt to the wounds of political divide. There are good and bad in all races. God help us all.

disgustingly sadistic
Sounds like slavery
Four undocumented day workers are hired to build a home. They get treated worse than a four year old in a Trump concentration camp for asylum seekers. Seems the second amendment couple takes delight in abusing the help and then they get buried under the house they complete because undocumented immigrants only smell when alive and not when they are dead and rotting.
The film just didn't work for me. I didn't care for any of the characters. The buried scene should have been intense, but wasn't. Why was there no smell? If you ever had a dead rat under the floorboards, you tear the house apart to get at it, but a dozen dead humans?
Guide: F-word. Male butt nudity.
Get Down
Faster than Jordan Peele can welcome us to his Twilight Zone, an unofficial sequel to his superior Get Out has come out on STARZ.
Yes, Get Out was superior to this, but that doesn't take away how well made this was and entertaining, though, somewhat hard to watch at times. Also, just for the record, it's not exactly like Get Out, but it's certainly in the same neighborhood.
Basically, we follow four hunks, I mean hunky Day Laborers in L.A., two of which we'll get a deeper background on for obvious reasons later and their acceptance of helping the most obviously evil, white, rich, Trump supporters. It's just a normal job for the four, but things get dicey when they reasonably ask for needed things during their work day. Mr. & (especially) Mrs. Wacky White expect them to finish the job, even if it kills them.
Please note: *I* threw in the "Trump supporters" bit, but I would bet my entire life savings they would vote for Trump for a third time if they could. And before anyone complains about me bringing politics into this, SEE: my comparison to Get Out. You simply cannot watch this without leaning one way or another politically. Preferably, you're NOT leaning to the EVIL side, as shown here.
It's not perfect, and I found a few unexplained/not fleshed out scenes/subplots including some "what just happened??" moments, but it gets back on track and explains everything in time. It's also not something I'd run back to watch again right away (but, definitely in time.) If you like the newly formed horror subgenre of politically-centered villains (thanks for that, Trump,) this is definitely worth a shot.
Especially if you find these hunks as attractive as I did. You'll be pleasantly surprised about mid-way.

Final thoughts: So, here I am. October. My favorite time of year, a period I set aside for at least one horror movie a day, or so I promise myself year after year. Though I make my 50+ list of potentials, I'm always on the lookout for new horror to me. Bummed out from draining Prime, Netflix and Hulu almost dry, I see the suggestion of STARZ I forgot I had signed up for during "Prime Day." I wouldn't have chosen this, but at $0.99 for two months, it was literally a steal. And lo, the very FIRST suggestion was this gem I've never heard of.
Hopefully with me writing this, you'll seek it out yourself. Low budget, indie films like this need to be seen. There are very good-looking movies made by amateurs and sometimes, they're indistinguishable with the big baddies of Hollywood. And in a lot of cases, I'd MUCH rather watch these movies made with heart ALL AROUND than ANY Hollywood movie. I couldn't even care less if they were riddled with flaws, it's nice to see movies made from people more concerned with art, fulfilling a dream and working for a living.
This is the first feature length movie for the director and hopefully, he continues on and makes more enjoyable, non-Hollywood money-grabbing unoriginal films.
