Absolutely horrible. Worse than a high school film class project.

Shame on the cast, crew, their friends and families for submitting positive reviews here. The cinematography, lighting, audio engineering, acting and script are all abysmal. It's one of the worst films I've ever seen. Well, part of anyway.

Dudley's descent into madness!

Great cinematography, creepy yet appropriate music, well done story and good acting overall. This movie is not what you are expecting, but that's a good thing. A monster movie? Absolutely. But not your typical creature feature. Director Chase Dudley continues to learn as he goes, never being afraid to bring his vision to the screen and his passion for filmmaking shows in his product. Gregory Blair & Tory L. Beckham really shine in this latest outing. "Beasts of the Field" is a lesson in how not to let it all go to your head. Looking forward to the next in a growing filmography.

So Bad That It's Good... NOT!

The positive reviews for this movie had to have come from the cast and crew. No one else in their right mind would rate this utter flop any higher than one star.

At first glance, I thought that this was one of those movies that everyone involved knew was going to be bad, but that would make fun of itself. The initial performances had a tongue-in-check, "Yeah, we know we suck, but we're doing this anyway!" feel. No one, and I mean no one, in this movie can act a lick, and it seemed like the director was trying to stress this in a satirical way. Unfortunately, the humorous, clumsy aspects of the movie eventually devolve into a turgid bowel movement of a mess.

Beasts? Creatures? There are literally none shown, except for some half-assed, quick silhouette of a black bear in the night. The "beasts in the field" turn out to be members of the production team. Wow. Who didn't see THAT coming? Anyone who hasn't absorbed a merciless beating about the head with a ballpeen hammer could figure that out, as there is virtually no glimpse or sign of the cryptic that this team is searching for... none, whatsoever. When you make a "monster" movie, and virtually omit including ANY kind of monster all for the entire movie, that only leaves the members of the team as the potential antagonists.

This turd ranks right up there with any of the cinematic "gems" that the Polonia Brothers have ever produced, and they've made some of the stupidest movies in the history of film-making. Dubious kudos, at best, to the makers of this waste of time.
