No pun intended - and I don't know if you feel that the intentions are. From a moral standpoint you may understand the frustration - but the way to go about it? There is a justice system - not that it works every time. Maybe you feel it does not work at all for or against certain people. Especially when they are powerful - it is almost impossible to get someone indicted or into prison when they are rich and/or have a lot of influence.
The movie is not easy to watch - and the justice seeking (if you want to call it that) main character is also not really likeable. On the other hand you have all those cliche guys she goes up against ... there is not much salvation here - no pun intended. Still it can be fun to watch if you are aware of all the flaws and just let it all flow.
Plot summary
Based on actual events, Barracuda is an original, vengeance themed story and fresh take on sexual perversions, the lives it affects and the pursuit of it. When we first meet Summer, a sensitive yet cynical portrait artist who supplements her income as a phone sex operator from her rickety old houseboat in Venice, she is at the end of her emotional rope. The callers, whom she began recording as proof of how normal, professional men can also be pedophiles and rapist, have entered her dreams at night. When no one will believe or listen to the taped phone conversations with these otherwise ordinary men, Summer take matters into her own hands and drives her vintage Plymouth Barracuda across the country, surprising and exposing these deviants at their homes. Accountability, closure with ones demons and how love conquers even the most cynical ensues. Barracuda is a witty and brazenly honest story of the unbeatable human spirit.

Good intentions ... gone bad(?)
I loved it
Contrary to other reports, I absolutely loved it, it was something different and there were plenty of laughs, pay-backs and justice metered.
The movie is based on a real story and in my opinion the acting was pretty darn good.
I've watched some crap in my time (77 years!) and this was way up in the stakes of something I would probably watch again before I die, here's hoping I have another 20 years!
I can tell you that it's way ahead of JAWS 3D! Haaar haaa.
A sad reality in modern film.
I dont even care to look up who the writer and director of this crap movie are.
The story is about a bunch of rapists and pedos being exposed by an ex phone sex line worker. Its total garbage. The acting is beyond terrible. It cant even be considered humerious.
