B-Boy Blues is a complex film, with a script that doesn't go much further than being one more illustration of reality. It's hard to appreciate his efforts to portray another world when the speech itself falls short. The lack of concepts is just ridiculous.

Jussie Smollett talent is .limitless it seems!! What a triumph his debut is almost flawless almost like a younger Spike Lee... Sometimes sad sometimes glorious sometimes laugh out funny the movie is definitely one for the ages...... Jessie you are amazing.

Why'd they hire a liar and felon to direct this? It's horribly written, horribly directed and the plot moves so slowly. I actually couldn't even finish watching it. It's boring and didn't keep my attention. The cast was ok, but the direction was not. Waste of time. Very amateurish. Can tell it's not directed by an experienced director. JS is so smug. And untalented.
