I love what I do

The opening is headlines. Nathan Cross, a serial killer, is put to death and there is a wicked solar flare that allows the realms between the living and the dead to become blurred. Eric (Anthony Bewlz) and Reese (Dennis Andres) purchase the inn where the killings took place. Seems the real estate laws in Wakefield don't require that disclosure.

Pretty medium, VHS player with snuff films, angry ghosts, and a bland piano soundtrack. The film had no hook. Characters, dialogue, and special effects were not there.

Guide: F-word. No sex or nudity

Ugh

Eric and Reese have moved to Wakefield to start a bed and breakfast, just in time for solar flares to kick in. A medium shows up and starts informing them of the history of their property, which was once owned by a killer named Nathan Cross. A shift in energy from the flares causes the veil between the living and dead to lift, so all the death in this quaint little town has come back to haunt everyone.

Director L.A. Lopes played a cashier in the remake of Poltergeist and now she's making movies of her own. It was written by Lindsay Seim, who was in Insidious: Chapter 2 and St. Agatha before this. Oddly, she doesn't list writing this film in her IMDB credits.

Perfect guideline on how to NOT make a movie.

Well what can I say about this thing I just watched? It's definitely a movie that makes it in into my list "Absolute awful movies to avoid at all costs". There are 36 movies in that list by now and the only thing I can say about that is that it is very difficult to make it into that list as I always try to find some positive things in pieces of garbage like this movie. But with this one there is just nothing positive to write, everything is badly done, the filming, the sound, the acting, the story, everything is terrible. I guess A Wakefield Project is made by a bunch of friends with absolutely no knowledge on how to make movies. Well I hope it's that, otherwise I can't see a bright future in that industry for them. L.A. Lopes is a name to remember, or not (note to myself: never ever watch anything he makes again). Besides the story being absolutely awful, very weak plot that makes no sense half of the time, you also get a bunch of wannabe actors that are really cringing to watch. Almost the whole cast is just terrible at what they try to do (you can't call that acting, that would be an insult to real actors). I'm surprised we don't have the usual fake reviews yet for this monstrosity.
